Fin Feather Fur Outfitters is an Ohio-based retail chain providing hunting, fishing, camping, firearm, and outdoor supplies to hunters, campers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. After starting in 1985 as a small bait and tackle shop in Ashland, Ohio, the Fin has grown and expanded over the years. In 2001, the original Ashland store was moved to a larger location to accommodate their growth and they have grown to six locations across Ohio.
The Fin's existing software system was a vendor-provided inventory management system and a standalone accounting package. When The Fin decided to centralize inventory management by adding a distribution center, they realized that their current software would not support the addition of a distribution center, nor would these systems support the anticipated future growth.
